CONCEPT ANALYSIS
History of Shenzhen
Shenzhen is a Special Economic Zone, a result of the big reforming policy of China’s government. Before the reform, Shenzhen was a center of SALT MONOPOLY.
Salt Crystal
The effect of light that pass through a salt crystal is mesmerizing. To simulate this, the LIGHT REFRACTION through prisms is used. At that time, the other works with prisms are simply represented with natural light. To make a difference, our intention is to represent this in EXTREMELY COMPLEX WAY WITH ARTIFICIAL LIGHT SOURCES.
