Overview
“It is not a thing that lends significance to a moment;
it is the moment that lends significance to things.”
—Abraham Joshua Herschel a philosopher
Eating together is an excuse to talk, to reflect on the day and to escape the usual daily distractions.
It is when people bond with one another and share a moment. During a meal time, food and
drinks facilitate conversation. People want to keep a memory of a shared meal with their friends,
so they take a photo which they will not necessarily revisit.
Can a meal time better support friendship bonds by encouraging social interaction and
preserving a good memory with friends?
CAPTURE AN[D] EXPERIENCE is a group meal designed for friends who enjoy art and new
experiences. It captures the moment of a meal and transforms it into a memento glass plate.
During the meal, diners will enjoy the activity and become more acquainted with one another.
In the end, each will get a memento plate that recalls the moment every time it is reused.
